QCC Autumn Update!
  • Register

On behalf of Quin Community Centre Management Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our regular users back after a well earned summer recess and indeed welcome on board a multitude of new user groups also.

We endeavour to provide a facility that is both welcoming and fit for purpose and in so doing hope that all our user groups and their respective activities are catered for.

The coming months will see our busiest period ever and most weekday evenings are now approaching capacity with limited rental space available. The weekends also are now being used more than ever before with bookings for parties and private events now becoming the norm.

With this in mind we would respectfully ask all patrons to ensure that the basics are adhered to when using the facility. As usage has increased, so has our costs! In recent months our operating costs, specifically our utility bills and maintenance bills have far exceeded our budgetary estimates.

All groups are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure that the hall is left as you found it. This includes a walkabout to ensure all external doors, fire escapes and windows are securely fastened and locked prior to vacating the premises. Our policies also state that with the exclusion of public areas, room rental does not entitle users to an access all areas pass!

We are endeavouring to keep our cost base low thus ensuring our very competitive rental fees remain as is. We can only do this with the assistance of all those that use the facility.

Please feel free to call either myself or any committee member if there is anything you wish to discuss. We are constantly striving to improve the user experience and can only do so with your input.
